A hybrid workshop organised as part of the ESA WorldPeatland project to engage with users dealing with peatland mapping and monitoring and to capture their requirements.
There will be two separate sessions accommodating online attendees from the western and eastern hemisphere. Both online and in-person delegates will be able to join one or both sessions if they prefer.

The organisers cordially invite you to attend a Workshop on Overcoming Barriers to Fen Restoration in Ireland, on 25 October, 2023 (Wednesday), from 10h00 am until 4h30 pm.
Stakeholders from all across the peat landscape, including people from NGOs, GOs, volunteer groups, social and environmental scientists, practitioners, and land users – are invited to attend this event to discuss the different risks and challenges of restoring fen peatlands in Irelands and potential ways of overcoming those.
Location: Botany Lecture Theatre, 1st Floor, Botany Building, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
